No more delays, it’s time to fight. Torrent Lifesteal Season 3 releases on June 14th, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST. This season comes with a ton of new features, patches, content, and rewards. We learned from our mistakes from the first two seasons, and finely crafted a highly developed season with no stones left unturned. Stay tuned for the launch trailer coming soon! So, what does Lifesteal Season 3 have in store for the Torrent community? Good question, player. Let’s break it down.
Combat
Who does not know the evils of war cannot appreciate its benefits.

Combat has expanded ten-fold on Torrent Lifesteal this time around. First, we applied a fine-tooth comb to the enchantments list. We removed any redundant, obtrusive, and unfair enchantments from the pool. We also added new enchantments, like Execute, Self Destruct, and Thundering Blow. These new enchants will change the PvP meta subtly, and are tested thoroughly to ensure fair gameplay. Another aspect of Lifesteal we addressed was the prevalent cowardice that pervaded throughout Season 2. We have taken a multi-step approach to inspire people to fight more:
- PvP has more incentives. We will be granting rank and gem rewards weekly for the top killer and top dueler, so fight to stay at the top! We also have a new PvP arena that grants you money and gems simply for being inside of it.
- No more KeepInventory. While KeepInventory in strategic locations was a soft-fix for the cowardice problem last season, it was only a bandaid. We have removed any KeepInventory locations and centralized PvP areas to just outside of spawn, so players are more tightly grouped together.
- Smaller world-size. We have reduced the world size to a 15k radius (down from 20k last season) to inspire base hunters.
- You need only run ~20 blocks to get to the PvP area and the gem mine. The gem mine has also been buffed.
- No more ways to weasel away mid-combat. Alongside our new execute enchant, we have removed multiple ways to escape from combat including the Wings enchant, equip-spamming exploits, riptide escapes, and more.
- The stats leaderboard now proudly displays the most epic players on our website.
- More ways to protect your items. You can now use gems to purchase holy white scrolls to permanently protect your items, and have created more methods to acquire gems, including in our webstore, AFK, and by fighting players in the arena.
- More ways to acquire custom gear.
New Spawn
We custom built a new spawn modeled after an ancient city. This spawn is intuitive and straight-forward. No more meandering around spawn and “spawn-rotting”. It’s very clear where to go and how to get there. There are secrets around spawn… find them and keep them to yourself (or else!) Our new spawn includes better NPC placement, a warp to the crystal PvP arena, the duels and royale arena, the AFK room, shops, and much more. There are many cool locations around spawn including a real ancient city, 3 trial chambers, lush caves, and a large ocean you can use to start your journey in a :bote: (if you know you know.)
Crystal PvP Arena
Some people are crystal PvP sweats, and some people hate it with a passion. We respect both parties equally. That is why we created a crystal PvP arena for you to enjoy to your hearts content. The warp is /warp cpvp or you can take the CPvP teleportation array at spawn. Jump in the hole and blow each other up to your heart’s content. Be warned, there is NO KeepInventory, so it may be difficult to escape once you jump in and get combat tagged. We do not provide support for skill issues.
The Secret
There is a big secret at spawn. This secret has been hinted at in our lore for literal years. If you have read our lore and played through the now defunct SMP questline, you probably know what I’m talking about. I’ll give you a hint, it has something to do with the massive portal at spawn… The secret will be revealed in one week’s time after our season release, which is when the RTP - The End NPC will be able to teleport you to the End Dimension. If you are able to deduce the secret beforehand, have at it. You can gain a MASSIVE advantage on the server by being the first player to uncover this secret. Good luck.
There is another secret at spawn related to King of the Hill. This secret will be revealed one week after the first secret is revealed, so two weeks after our season release. This is another secret that once uncovered could give you a big advantage, so make note of its location and wait for the right time to use it.
King of the Hill
KoTH got a huge buff this season! KoTH now has a dedicated crate, and winning KoTH gives you a KoTH crate key as your reward. This crate is very powerful, and KoTH rewards will rotate bi-monthly to stronger or weaker rewards, so make sure you take advantage of the limited time items! KoTH runs every 2 hours, and you must capture the KoTH for the longest within the 15 minutes that KoTH runs for. To find KoTH, head North from spawn and take a left, then go up the stairs toward the meteor.
The Launch
We will be blasting this server far and wide for the launch. Thanks to our partnership with Minehut, we will be purchasing many Minehut GUI ads to promote this server, as well as across many platforms. However, we rely on our core community to form the base for our players to build from, so we ask that you try to be present for our launch date on 06/14/2025 at 12:00 PM EST.
